The western world has generally seen an increase in obesity, while in poorer regions the unbalanced distribution of resources leads to malnutrition, and both of these situations are wrong as it becomes an expensive burden both on the individual and the country.

A healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to be hard, it just needs consistency and commitment, and with that investment and focus you will see the change, improvement and feeling of relief almost instantly.

1. Get the Right Amount of Sleep

When you sleep your body gets the chance to recharge, repair and relax. When someone lacks good sleep they can be cranky and out of focus and not their best selves, and if someone misses sleeps constantly they may face health problems in the long run.

It’s best to get at least 8 to 9 hours of sleep, during the night and in a dark, peaceful environment. This is good for the nervous system and the rest of your life, and its best to have a sleep pattern that you stay loyal to.

Another tip would be not stay away from cell phones and screen about an hour before going to sleep.

2. Stay H2O Hydrated

8 glasses of water a day keeps the stomach problems away. Staying hydrated keeps the metabolism system in check, and is really helpful in losing weight and being energetic.

If you’re looking for something more exciting you could try adding a little juice or cucumbers to your water, but do stay away from sodas and fizzy drinks.
