A peaceful sleep is very necessary for your body to work with full force the next day because a comfortable sleep will help you use your energy well and a steady metabolism will be in place. If you toss and turn night after night, it would be otherwise.

What can be done:

An adult human being needs an approximate of 8 hours of sleep to keep his metabolism working steadily and this cycle needs to be observed to remain healthy and strong.

4. Strict diets

In order to lose body weight, people often start to eat way less at once and their body energy demands are not met. Hence, their metabolism also slows down. The body also clings to that diet and weight loss does not work the way it needs to.

What can be done:

You should not stop eating everything just to lose weight. Rather, you should be consuming enough calories and exercise at the same time. This would be time-consuming but more effective.

5. Trendy Salt

Iodine is very important for our body and metabolism. Many people who dine in fancy restaurants and gourmet kitchens often get obsessed over sea salt and use it instead of normal iodized salt. They become deficient of iodine and their metabolism gets affected big time.

What can be done:

Iodized salt should be consumed instead of sea salt. Even a dash of iodized salt can meet the requirement of the body. Also, foods that are rich in iodine should be consumed.
